November theme days: Fences

It's that time again! The first of the month means a new theme on the CDP network and this month's subject is fences. I hope you'll enjoy this rustic specimen. I'm not sure if it will hold up another season, but I like the recycled log effect and the way it is starting to blend in to the landscape.

To see more fences from cities around the world, visit the CDP November Theme Day page. I've also got another fence you might enjoy on my travel blog.

The split rails do look like they won't last too much longer.

J'adore. Et au fond, il y a une barrière toute neuve...

Perhaps the landscape will eventually take over!

@Jim - this is actually next to a golf course, so not the best place for hunting. Unless you're looking for balls of course! :)

Great shot, Hal! This is one of those old rail fences that remind me of my childhood. I liked them 'cause they were easy to climb over! :-)

This gorgeous rustic little fence is putting up a very brave fight against nature there Halcyon, wonder how much longer he'll be able to fight it off! Beautiful image.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
