Schmetterling

A black and white beauty seen at the Toronto Zoo. I visited in late September, but when going through my archives I realized I had never shown any of these shots. Hope you'll enjoy the highlights!

PS: I have a last taste of Rome this week on my travel blog. Stop by and take a look at the Eternal City.

Beautiful shot of the butterfly! I have yet to capture any myself....too hooked on the backyard birds.

A terrific shot! I haven't been to the Metro zoo in years.

This is just plain excellent and quite elegant!

Glad you got in a round of golf. Probably not too many more left before ye olde cold sets in.

I played yesterday. It was sunny and in the 80s. A little windy, though. Didn't do well at all - no consistency. Still too worried about the knee. But things will improve, right?

Excellent, Halcyon. The image is crisp and the narrow depth of field is just right for it. Gee, have you been practicing?

Nice shot, they always seem to fly away just as I try to snap a picture.

Gorgeous butterfly and lovely light in your capture. I also get surprised every now and then when I go hunting through my harddisk and find whole treasure troves of images I have barely even looked at!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
