My husband took me out to dinner at a restaurant in Bloor West Village earlier this week. Neither of us had ever been in this part of town for any significant period of time and we were both pleasantly surprised. Bloor is certainly an interesting street: on one end you have the high-end boutiques, then you get into some seedy Korean joints and now this cute little stretch. Hopefully I'll get back to this area to explore a little more!
Until then, enjoy more signs at Signs, Signs.

A nice street for sure and I like a lot your composition with the bench!
Any picture of the dinner? ;)

A sturdy bench!
And it's got a nice bench upon which to rest one's weary body after trudging up and down Bloor Street. Looks rather nice and clean. I like!
Lowell hit the nail on the head: it looks quite clean. How refreshing to see -- especially in a transitional commercial area.
I really like this one: solid and old fashioned!
Moi j'adore l'angle de prise de vue !
looks like a very nice neighborhood.
How neat to find a lovely new area in your home city.
I'm surprised you didn't look for houses in this neighbourhood since it is so nice and not totally priced out of line - unless you needed to be by the highway.
The sign was well discovered. The bench and planter box indicate a well cared for area. Glad you discovered again.
@RedPat - the hubs works in Ajax, so we needed to be more on the east side and close to the 401. I love the area where we live though. It's all older homes and the lots are nice and roomy. :)
I used to live in this area. I still miss it. (but not the 6 roommates I needed in order to afford to live here!)
I do like this end of Bloor. :)
You need to have a bendable body to see this one. You have a great eye. This end of the the Bloor appears to be the better one. Nice find. genie
that bench looks nicely polished!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
