The spot where I usually get on the subway is actually an above-ground section. You're looking at Yorkdale station. Those two ladies are probably headed to the mall which is located here. Sometimes I drive and park my car at the mall in order to save a bit of time and that's exactly what I did this day.
To enjoy more monochrome shots, take a look at the Weekend in Black and White.

Every bit of Toronto seems so nice, it must be a wonderful place to live!
God bless you!

Interesting play with shadows.
J'aime bien cette photo très graphique !
The combination of light and dark with the different lines and forms make this a very interesting photo!
This is a fine photo. Love the shadows falling.
Totally love how you have captured the light and shadows!
Shadows are perfect in b&w.
Perfect shadow grid -- and perfect in B&W!
I love the way the shadows cross the lines of the walkway - also the light squares in the darkness ;)
I've never been in that station but sure have been to Yorkdale!
Wonder if they dare to step on the lines? A brilliant motive, this one.
Very nice study in b&w and light and shadow! And yes, we're having fun. I think.
WOW!!! What an impressive set of shadows you have captured in this picture. The subway looks pretty empty except for those two people. I like being able to see in through the windows. This is a great shot. genie
Great b&w.
Nice urban photography! I like it.
Very nice picture.
Wishing you a good Sunday.

Wonderful shot! The shadows are great!
:)
Great shot! I really like it.
Well done! Great lines and super balance of white and black. Your timing is perfect to catch the white coat in the black space.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
