Another look at some of the Inuit art on display at the museum. I found this piece quite evocative, the piece seems to evoke a feeling of contemplation. Perhaps it is just my perception, what do you think?

I love Inuit art. Unfortunately all the good stuff is super expensive, so I only have a few prints.
Je n'ai jamais rien vu de tel dans l'art amérindien, c'est très intéressant.
It evokes in me a sense of wonder. One eye, eh? I wonder what that means.
Inuit art generally appeals to me. With this one, though, I can only think "politician"... the one-eyed leading the blind... LOL!
I think if I had two horns coming out of my head, a huge nose and one eye, I'd be doing some serious contemplation of my situation!
An interesting sculpture; perhaps is some mythical figure?
I have never seen Inuit art. Great sculpture.
The animal frame is the first thing one sees, the face does draw one to thought since the animal frame and face are so different. I like this piece and would think it is a huge conversation piece.
that one eye does seem to fit well within its long framed face.... it is strange looking, though!
This looks like a girl I went out with in college. Of course, I drank too much in college.
Looks like something from a nightmare.
I love this kind of sculpture!

Nicely composed photo.
Fantastic! Love this piece.
Kinda creepy too.
It's very quirky! Somehow reminds me of Sci-Fi beasties...
Love this sculpture! Contemplation... I can see that... but maybe also alertness, because of the pursed lips. Anyways, interpretation is a very individual thing:):)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
