Inuit clothing

One of the most interesting things at the Inuit Art Museum was the traditional clothing. I always find clothes and shoes fascinating, they're one of my favorite things to see in museums. I imagine someone spent hours  upon hours over this particular garment and I can see the love in it.

It looks like it would keep one wonderfully warm and look so fabulous while doing so. I bet that was a fascinating exhibition Halcyon.

I am just the opposite. I usually skip past museum exhibitions of clothing. BUT, this native clothing is gorgeous, with the bright colors, interesting patterns and fine handwork of an oriental rug. THIS I would look at with admiration for quite a while.

Very impressive and very beautiful.

Have you been watching "Frozen Planet"? It's a BBC production and on Sunday nights (on the Discovery Channel in the States) ... quite an incredible piece of work.

How intricate it all is. It must ages to make such a costume.

That is truly one of the most beautiful items of clothing I have ever seen. I have a true passion for Inuit art, but this exceeds my expectations. Thank you so much for this shot.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
