Ever since I saw the Cheltenham Badlands on a fellow Ontatrian's blog, I knew I had to visit this place! I was actually here back in June, but somehow my shots got overlooked. In any case, hope you enjoy this view - it's even more spectacular in person. I may show a few more detail shots this week. It's a fascinating place to visit.
PS: Happy Labour Day!!!

What a great place to explore.
How interesting -- it always amazes me, the things that nature does -- the Badlands in South Dakota, the red rocks in the Southwest -- and your spot looks very interesting too.
un beau paysage et surprenant
Ca me rappelle vaguement des choses vues aux USA mais ce qui me surprend ce sont les arbres !
It's been on my to do list for awhile.
Fantastic scenery!
Reminds me of the climb to the top of Cadillac Mt. at Acadia National Park here in Maine.
Well there you go - you've taught me something, as I didn't know they existed.
They were new to me too when they were blogged about. (Was it EG?) Lucky you for getting to see them.
I've learned something new today. I love places like this!
When you are there you really feel like you're on a different planet.
With a view like that, it is definitely worth [ a multiple ] return visit! :D Love the "wave" on the rocks structure. Hope you had a great Labour holiday :D
What a spot!
@RedPat - it was EG's blog where I saw it for the first time! :)
Bad and spectacular!
Who'd a thought? I know some of you Ontarions are "bad," but this is extraordinary! Beautiful shot, too. I'll bet people play disc golf there.
So you got some rain. I should have been at your work with a camera when you arrived this morning, right?
that's really cool! do show more!
Looks amazing Halcyon, so glad the people are in the shot to show how enormous the Badlands are in comparison..quite a climb there!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
