It is wonderful! I just love all those columns.
I agree - I've always loved the look of that great building!
elle est magnifique, j'adore. Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas faire de photos a l’intérieure
Magnificent overall with beautiful detail. That's what a municipal building should look like!
Your city hall really is one of the most beautiful buildings, in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.
Lovely old ornate building; I'm so glad it's still in use as a public building.
it's beautiful! how old is it?
@Tanya - building was completed in 1899. They actually wanted to tear this place down in the 60s to build a new shopping mall. :S Luckily, it was saved!
An unusual color for a solemn architecture!
It is indeed a handsome building.
Amazing stone work! Gorgeous façade.
Amazing what artistry they had.
What an ornate building!
Can you imagine anyone trying to carve stone like in this century? Nor can I. E.J Lennox is one of my favourite architects.
I love all of the details.
Oh, this one is a beauty, Halcyon. C'mon . . . you must have good sneaky pic technique by now. Go on. Your public demands some inside shots.
That stonework just glows in the sunshine!
I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
