I like the idea of having a causeway over the fescue at a golf course! I found this example at the Grey Silo course in Waterloo, ON. I was actually there for an LPGA tournament earlier this summer. I even got to meet and greet with the German golfer, Sandy Gal. I try to root for her when I watch the women's events. If you'd like to see more bridges, visit Sunday Bridges.

I'll be hinest, I had to look up the meaning of "fescue", but a German "tolfer"? Your errant finger is at work methinks! :D
And my errant finger also! "Honest" honestly!
I'd like to take a stroll there...
God bless you!

Nice! I would like to meet the "tolfer," Sandra Gal. She has a wonderful swing. Oh, you were talking about golf. That, too!
@Paul - glad I'm not the only one who makes typing mistakes. :)
The 'tolfer' has been fixed. :)
I think it would be hard to walk below the path, for sure! It looks delightful.
Good way to preserve the vegetation. We have lots of wooden path sections on our trails in Powell River in marshy areas. It helps the hikers/bikers as well as the plants. - Margy
I learned a new word today..."fescue". Thanks! This is a lovely picture.
I wouldn't have thought of 'fescue' and 'golf course' as being in the same league. how cool to see a LPGA tournament.
Around here, fescues are common grasses. I like them because they can deal equally well with sun and shade and we get a lot of dappled sunlight.
That's nice that they've made a walkway through/over the course. I like that a lot. Neat you got to meet your pro favorite!
It reminds me of a place near me...but the flies attack you when you walk on the bridge. So I stay off.
Ahhh... Golf: A good way to ruin a nice walk :-)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
