Tree of life

I found this mural painted on the wall just inside the Brandt House. I'm not sure what the significance of it is, but I think it might have something to do with the summer camps they host there as the names on the leaves were quite modern. In any case, it's a nice welcome to the museum! For more murals, take a look at Monday Murals.

blue leaves are a little odd, but it is a nice design.

I like how it branches (no pun intended) out onto the ceiling.

I agree with Andy;it's the first thing I noticed of the design.

And I'm also with Andy - the second thing i noticed, after the blue leaves. Whimsical.

I like it a lot; lively and cheerful. Re your comment on Florida Fotos: Funny, some people seemed to like the tattoo, but I'm with you...ruined the whole effect. She was beautiful but the tattoo detracted a great deal from that beauty.

What a nice and truly colorful addition to the stairway. Love how it climbs up onto the ceiling.

Et ça donne des idées de déco pour ma montée d'escaliers!

Bright and cheerful -- and yes, definitely welcoming...you know it's not going to be a fusty dusty museum.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
