Sunbathing swans

A look back at summer on the Toronto islands. Those swans and ducks seem to be enjoying the wonderful weather. I must admit, I wouldn't mind flying south for the winter! For more reflections, take a look at Weekend Reflections.

Yes, a trip south is looking good already. Cold fog this morning made my joints ache.

Beautiful shot! I like the reflected green as a background for the other reflections.

"I miss the summer - bring back the heat"
-Oh how I wish I could give you some of our Texas heat. It's still 96F but at least it's cooler than the 100's during summer. Give me a Canadian winter any day. :)

Gorgeous photo of my favorite kind of place! I've never seen swans in the part of the South where we fly to in the winter (with any luck)....I wonder where they winter.

Fantastic reflections! Love boats and water and ducks and swans...well, swans can be kinda nasty, come to thing of it.

I'm looking forward to winter! :-) It was 57 degrees here this morning...fantastic. We opened the windows and drank in the fresh, cool air!

Truth be told, I'm not sad to see the end of summer. This year was far too hot for too long. Just saying. ;)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
