Colorful benches

The Canadian National Exhibition - known locally as The Ex - took place in Toronto a few weeks ago. I had a free ticket, so I took a quick stroll through the grounds where I found this lineup of colorful benches. The Ex is comparable to a state fair in the US - there are carnival rides, animal showings and of course, plenty of fried food! Check back in the coming days to see more of the fair fun!

Good! Last time I went to the Ex was in the 60's, so maybe it's changed a bit.

When I was a kid we got free tickets to go to the EX before school got out and everyone hung onto them and turned up for all the rides and displays. I haven't been for years.

It sure is festival season! It was so easy to paint each bench with different colors. Why don't more cities do something like that?

A delightful place to sit and rest. Easy on the eyes with the colorful benches and greenery planted with them.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
