Downsview Station is the very first or very last (depending on how you look at it) station on the Yonge - University line, or as I like to call it the west side of the yellow U. I live about ten minutes walk from this station and when I go downtown during the week, I usually use the subway. Sadly, I don't get downtown as much these days due to my job. But I guess we all have our priorities.

You really caught a great reflection of the blue sky and clouds.
That's the trouble with working, it keeps you from doing important stuff! Fortunately, I'm too old to work anymore. So, I am forced to play on the computer, take pictures and putt around golf courses. It's sad, really.
But at least when you get a day off, you can go to the subway and take a nice reflective shot like this which you can then post so the rest of us can enjoy it too. That ain't pocket change!
^^^^ - I'm in Lowell's camp!
It does seem odd though, on a nice Toronto day, to go underground!
A beautiful reflection and a nice bench!
Oui, je me doutais que VP passerait par là ! :-)
Cool reflection!
The newer stations up on that line are much more interesting than the original ones.
Pretty station~ Yeah, it's terrible the way work interferes with life's priorities isn't it? (I remember those days --- lots of theml ;>)~
The building is so geometrical... Nice catch !
Lowell . . . Paul . . . Sallie . . . Gee, Halcyon, you got a lot of old fogeys reading your blog!
Very truly yours, another old fogey
@Jack - I don't see any of you as old fogeys, but more as some of my favourite readers! :D
Now I understand the reason of the station's nickname.
Tell Jack not to be so quick with the "age buckets" - hah! The building was adapted to the gentle curve of the street with interesting angles. Glad to see the blue sky and clouds in the reflection.
Bises,
Genie
Nice looking sky.
Neat capture, Hal!
«Louis» thanks you for your visit to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.
For me subway life is just a 'dream'. I enjoy it when I'm not forced to use it daily.
Well-captured reflections!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
