I hope you enjoyed last week's jaunt to Ottawa, but now we're back to Toronto. If you're interested in seeing more of Canada's capitol, I'll have a few more shots coming up on my travel blog.
So far, I've only gotten two of the 41 pianos that are around town, but I hope to capture a few more before the project is over at the end of the summer. These two girls still need a few more lessons before becoming virtuosos, but they were certainly having fun plinking and plunking on the keys.
Happy Simcoe Day (aka Civil Holiday) to my fellow Ontarians! Happy Monday to everyone else.

Ah c'est mignon, c'est top ces pianos. Il manque la bande son ! Bonne journée fériée !
Pianos and art all over town? That is quite a project!
I want to see MORE pianos.
It's wonderful to see the pianos being enjoyed. :)
Great piano project. Both players and watchers enjoy the piano.
Happy Simcoe day to you, too. Love these pianos and what a great setting that is. I'd sit down and play for awhile - unless it was too hot!
Re Ms. Giesemann: She's currently touring the US doing book signings and lecturing. I'm not sure if she's planning to go to Canada and I know she's going to upstate New York. She was the aide to the Joint Chiefs of Staff when 9/11 occurred. Very interesting person. And a good friend.
My grandson would never complain about practicing piano if he had a piano like that!
Love that dinosauer and the kids are having a great time --
Have to go and google Simcoe Day.
That's a fun one!
Great idea!
I absolutely love the piano thing. What a great civic idea.
The artist on this piano was playful and very creative.
The joy of being young, not afraid to get out and just do it. What a challenge to find and photograph all 41, sounds like a fun project.
Cute pianists!
They must have had a great time!!

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
