From my garden...

I never had very good luck with zinnias, but this year I've hit the jackpot! A plethora of "volunteer" flowers have bloomed in my beds. I probably have the birds to thank for that.

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have some nice plans for the weekend. Mine is going to include un peu de francais.

Lovely shade of pink. A gift from the birds; how nice of them!

Love your floral images Halcyon, especially as we're in the middle of winter here, so nice to see the colour, merci beaucoup..

Boy, are you lucky! I only get "volunteer" weeds and lots of 'em!

And I must say I was really disappointed when I watched the Canadian Open yesterday and didn't see you in the crowd. Maybe this afternoon you could wave to the camera?

(You don't have to tell me you were working, wink-wink.)

Have you played that beautiful course?

What a beautiful series of flowers. My favorite is the yellow rose followed by zinnias. Remember how hot it was in Mississippi, well the Alabama yellow roses turn almost brown in the summer heat.

Blow a little of the Toronto cool evening air this way, svp!

Your flower series has been very good. I think you're getting the technique down.

I hope your tripod and you enjoy the trip.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
