Here's a last look at the Portuguese Parkette. I love the way the designers have incorporated this stone bench into the landscaping.
The parkette also included a nice little fountain to honor the pioneers. This little parkette really squeezes a lot in! I hope you have enjoyed the tour.

You now have me so interested in the Portugese history in your country. Your posts have piqued my curiosity.
The City Of Toronto has to be one of the most multicultural cities in the world.
I see Prince Henry, the Navigator! :-) Have checked all the posts, the place looks lovely.
The Portuguese parkette looks so very well tended Halcyon..the blue and white tiled mural is gorgeous..It would be so cool to have something like this in the garden right! Merci beaucoup for the walk in the park :)
Well designed parkette! I too love the placement of the bench.
This is one fine parkette, Halcyon. I did enjoy the tour.
Nice bench.
That bench doesn't look too comfy but it certainly is pretty. And I've enjoyed the tour very much. Who knew about these Portuguese?

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
