The black and white works so well here...giving the photo a rather haunting look, especially with the Star of David. Almost looks like a picture from about 1945.

This is really fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing your great photos. I hope that you are getting some much needed relief from the humidity in Toronto. We got a series of thunderstorms here in Montreal and believe me, I was so glad to see the rain after temperature of 42 celsius. There are some downed trees and some have gotten power failures, but we really needed this rain.
