Pink peony

I found this beauty in the garden of one of the many golf courses I've visited this year. This magnificent blossom is a double bloom peony, if I'm not mistaken. I love that shade of pink and the fresh rain drops don't hurt either. If you enjoy flowers, check back tomorrow. I'm doing a floral series this week.

The peonies I've seen were pretty puny compared to this peony! Gorgeous! And I'm glad to know you take your camera with you on the golf course. You could also have your husband take photos of you swinging the club! :)

Every time I see peonies, especially when they look like the one above, I'm more determined to try and grow them Halcyon..I just need to get out to my local nursery and find out if their suitable for our climate. Am enjoying your floral series.

Love the drops, they add to the freshness of the flower and to the beauty of the image.

Gorgeous, my favorite flower, sadly it doesn't get cold enough here for me to grow them.

You found a gorgeous peony, Halcyon. The peonies down here are long gone.

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
